Command WebWorks is independently owned and operated by David Zinni, Sole Proprietor, New Bern, North Carolina. Command WebWorks (“we,” “us,” or “our”) builds and maintains websites for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to commandwebworks.com and to the text messages and emails we exchange with you.
The short version on text messages: we never sell, rent, or share your mobile number with anyone for their own marketing. We only text people who have opted in through our website or texted us first. You can stop the messages any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to answer your inquiry and build your website.
- Information you give us. Your name, business name, phone number, email address, and whatever you tell us about your business when you fill out our contact form, email us, call us, or text us.
- Project materials. Photos, logos, copy, service lists, pricing, and similar content you send us so we can build your site.
- Basic site analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying data about visits to commandwebworks.com, such as page views and referring sources. We do not use this to identify individual visitors.
We do not collect payment card numbers on this website. If you pay by invoice, the payment processor collects that information directly under its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and answer your questions
- To schedule and confirm calls and meetings
- To build, revise, and launch your website
- To send project updates, draft links, and requests for information during a build
- To send invoices and handle payment
- To provide ongoing support if you are on a Care Plan
SMS and text messaging
Consent
We send text messages only to people who have given express consent, in one of two ways:
- Website form. By checking the optional, unchecked-by-default SMS consent box on the contact form at commandwebworks.com (or on our project intake form). The box states: “I agree to receive recurring text messages from Command WebWorks about my website inquiry, appointments, and project updates. Message frequency varies (typically 2–10 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance. Consent is not required to purchase.” You can submit the form without checking the box, and we will not text you if you leave it unchecked.
- Customer-initiated text. By sending a text message first to our published business number, (252) 675-4562, about a website inquiry. We reply only within the conversation you started.
Consent to receive text messages is not required to purchase any service. We do not purchase, rent, or import phone number lists, and we do not send automated or other text messages to anyone who has not opted in through one of the methods above.
What we send
Our messages are conversational and related to your website inquiry, appointments, and project updates: replies to your questions, scheduling and confirming calls and appointments, sending draft links for review, and requesting information we need to finish the work. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your project. Most customers receive between 2 and 10 messages per month. Frequency is higher during an active build and lower or none once your site has launched.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan.
Opting out and getting help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from us. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you opt back in. Reply START to resume. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your information
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. This includes your mobile phone number. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes under any circumstances.
We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers. Companies that help us operate, such as our website host, email provider, SMS provider, and payment processor. They may only use the information to perform services for us.
- Your own website. Content you provide for your site is published on your site, because that is the purpose of the work.
- Legal requirements. If required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep information
We keep project files and correspondence for as long as we are working together and for a reasonable period afterward for reference, warranty, and tax purposes. You may ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Stop text messages by replying STOP
- Unsubscribe from emails by replying and asking, or using the unsubscribe link where present
- Ask us what information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete your information

Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
Third-party links
Our website links to websites we have built for clients and to other outside sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
